The Change Management Specialist will focus on change management with the Reimagining Professional Services team, an ambitious initiative which aims to create a compelling new future for professional services across the University of Cambridge. The role will involve creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee engagement and adoption and minimize resistance.

We are keen to hear from candidates who want to make a difference and play a key role in the transformation process at Cambridge.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Change Management Specialist will work with sponsors and teams to drive faster adoption, higher utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact staff to achieve positive results and outcomes.

Your focus will be on the people side of change - including changes to business procedures, processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.

You will create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance.

You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including; the Change and Programme Management Office; the Reimagining Professional Service multi-disciplinary team; Change Management Specialists based within other key transformation programmes; Change Partners and HR Business Partners based in schools; School Secretaries; and other stakeholders to collectively champion and ensure consistency in improved working practices.

We are looking for candidates with:

experience of facilitating and promoting large-scale cross-organisational change initiatives.

the ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of how people go through change and utilise appropriate tools and techniques to enable & sustain change.

excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships will also be vital.

a recognised change or transformation qualification/certification (e.g. APMG Practitioner, PROSCI level or equivalent) would be advantageous.
