The Opportunity
The Legal Project Manager, Transactions LPM will be an experienced legal project manager and will support the transactions practices in the delivery of large, complex matters, as well as in the development of new processes and tools to support matter management.
The Legal Project Manager will drive behavioural change and advise and influence senior stakeholder / client decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Transactions practices, including:
Legal Project Management responsibilities
supporting the efficient scoping, planning and management of complex, multi-jurisdictional, sophisticated client engagements with a primary focus on service delivery and client experience; working directly with clients alongside the legal team to deliver high quality legal services ensuring that the Digital Legal Delivery practice and third-party suppliers are used effectively preparation of project management documentation such as project plans and timelines, scopes of work, budgets, stakeholder and communication plans. encouraging the integration of legal project management techniques into the practice groups through the utilisation of the firm's technology and proper deployment and management of its self-service and other resources proactive, professional management of project change, scope creep and risk; the main point of contact for the partner and/or client in relation ot these matters advising on the selection, configuration, and implementation of LPM systems solutions to support lawyers' needs and assisting with the development of LPM "dashboards" and reports for partners and clients the legal team's primary point of contact, responsible for the production of tailored pre-engagement pitch and pricing materials participation in client pitches and RfPs as required to describe and design the firm's LPM approach and principles Process improvement and innovation responsibilities

Effectively manages 1 or more team members to assist in the delivery of outcomes; sets clear objectives and deliverables for team members and actively monitors and reports performance against theseQualifications, skills & experience
Essential
5 years working experience and either: an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a global law firm or other established professional services organisation managing the delivery of complex professional service mandates; or candidates who are qualified lawyers with a proven track record of managing legal work, end to end Demonstrated experience of leading and managing complex projects and large delivery teams Comprehensive understanding of the legal process and typical work product in a law firm environment High-level interpersonal skills to facilitate communication in person, by email and telephone with professionalism, courtesy and diplomacy A strong understanding of the financial framework of a law firm, remuneration models and performance indicators. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive multi-disciplinary team Ability to produce high quality and accurate written content Strong technical, organisational and facilitation skills and attention to detail Experience of using a Financial Practice Management System (e.g. Elite or Aderant Expert) Excellent systems skill set across Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word as a minimum) and an ability to rapidly pick up new systemsDesirable
Formal project management qualification (e.g. Agile, PRINCE2, PMP) A developed working knowledge of HighQ and/or SharePoint as a project and workflow management tool Experience working with a combination of legal technologies, for example, collaboration software; automation and AI.Closing date for applications is Friday 21st June 2024 at 12:00pm
