Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant for SEN Students

Location: Reading

Salary: £85-£90 per day

Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel is seeking proactive and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our team in Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 with SEN students, providing tailored support to meet their individual educational needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and enhance student progress.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the unique learning styles of each student.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students is preferred.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development.
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
