Working in a wide variety of civil engineering environments and sectors, your new company prides itself on its commitment to health and safety, environmental and social responsibility and supporting its local community.By joining this contractor, you can take full ownership on contracts from inception to handover, working closely with other senior members of the team throughout the tender stage to contract completion. Your new role 
Working alongside the Senior Management team, you will be expected to oversee projects from inception to completion. Using a mix of people management and communication skills, you will utilise your experience and industry knowledge to ensure the projects you are a part of are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standard. You will connect with all levels of staff, from site workers to directors, with a professional and even-handed approach. You will be able to see problems as they arise and propose solutions alongside other industry professionals to meet deadlines and budget. 
Some duties will include: • Manage the engineering, design/installation process, and to minimise risks associated with this to the project and to the company.• Understand duties and responsibilities with regards to current Health and Safety/CDM legislation• Produce, implement, and approve process where appropriate, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.• Communicate programme risks throughout the team and help to improve where possible on delays, producing records and notices for contractual correspondence.• Attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with the Client, the Designers, Specialist Contractors, and other team members across projects within your control. • Contribute to the regular reports, attend project meetings, and contribute value engineering skills.• Review designers and contractor’s drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements.• Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirementsWhat you'll need to succeed 
To be successful, you will need to be willing to travel daily to the head in Omagh, County Tyrone, as well as be able to attend sites visits as appropriate. Previous experience within a similar role will be required with preference held to those who have managed multiple Civil Engineering schemes across their career. You will be required to hold up to date, relevant management tickets such as NVQ Level 6, degree in construction or civil engineering discipline, or industry relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be contractually aware and have skills in managing multiple schemes as well as have strong commercial acumen to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective delivery of work.What you'll get in return 
In return for your hard work, you can expect to receive an attractive salary of £60,000 +, (Negotiable dependable on experience) plus a vehicle or car allowance along with additional company perks. On top of this competitive package, you will be the recipient of a pension scheme and 30 days of annual leave. This role will see you develop both personally and professionally and take further responsibilities as the role grows. You will become a valued member of the team and have the support of other leaders in the business.
