CAD Engineer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Produce high quality, professional models and drawings within the specified timeframe, for ease of fabrication. Assisting in the design and manufacturing process of projects. Ensure drawings match materials allocated and meet PO (Project Orders) requirements when possible. Use Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks & AutoCAD to produce drawings from initial concept through to completion. Liaise with Project teams with respect to mechanical requirements. Manage changes to product designs. Ensure that drawings are prepared, stored, issued and archived in accordance with company procedures. Communicate with suppliers and clients when applicable. Provide and maintain a BOM from CAD Drawings & Models (when required/possible). Log Hours for each project. Ensure HSE procedures are adhered to and help promote a safety-first culture.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
GCSE (or equivalent) in English, Maths & Science Intermediate CAD Software Experience (SolidWorks, Autocad, etc)SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to understand, evaluate and apply technical information Knowledge and understanding of good steel fabrication practices and standards Understanding of Construction Engineering Industry would be advantageNOV offers you:
