Protocol Education are working with a local Secondary School in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to appoint a Temp to Perm Degree qualified English Teacher who has a passion for the subject.

The school caters for students aged between 11-18 and has made huge strides and investment in developing a supportive and development focused culture. Inclsuvity is at the fore front of this schools objectives, with a community of children who require extra support due to SEN needs.

This role has Plan and preperation responsabilities, as well as the opportunity to have a Tutor group.

Full time

8:30-4pm with an expectation for attendance to all staffing events and taking on after school activities where required.

Role Responsabilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons and activities around subject specialism surrounding curricullum guidelines
  • Intervention & Behavioural support 
  • Positive engagement with all students, providing extra support for children who face struggles and Challenges accessing their education
  • Marking & providing feedback to students to improve their work throught the academic year
  • Effective communication with parents & Students on academic progress

  • Caring nature with strong resiliance
  • QTS qualified
  • Degree qualified in subject specialism - English
  • Previous Experience within Secondary Schools
  • Proven Behavioural intervention sucesss

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
