Nursery Practitioner


Newstaff are looking for Nursery Practitioners to work as supply cover Nursery Staff in Nurseries across Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire.

If you are a Nursery Practitioner looking for a better work life balance, variety and flexibility working as a supply Nursery Practitioner could be what you are looking for. You will have the opportunity to work part or full time covering in daily, weekly or longer-term assignments.

Working as a Nursery Practitioner is a rewarding and vital role, you will be helping to create a safe, engaging, and supportive nursery environment for the children in the absence of their regular practitioner.


Essential requirements:
• Hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.
• Hold a valid paediatric First Aid certificate.
• Experience caring for children under 5 within a childcare setting.
• Thorough understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Exemplary knowledge of child development/EYFS

Newstaff are committed to safeguarding children; successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS, with further vetting checks including references. If you have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the past 10 years you will need to provide overseas ‘police good conduct’ check.


Please note this role is only suitable to candidates that live within commutable distance to Milton keynes and Buckinghamshire.
