About the Role

Do you have experience of working within the Security Industry and managing client relationships? Are you looking for a new challenge where you will play a pivotal role between the business and the customer, ensuring both parties needs are met and the best solution provided.

Reporting to the SOC Customer Service Manager, as the Security Operations Centre (SOC) Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing client relationships and where possible bring through upselling/cross selling solutions and services onboard other partners or end users to help grow our revenue.

This position will cover the North of the UK (from M4 and above), so you must be prepared to travel.


Job Opportunity

What you will be doing:

  • Maintaining regular contact with key customers and identifying additional revenue opportunities
  • Explore cross selling opportunities where appropriate and implement new service lines
  • Act as a lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers.
  • Create and own Account Management plans for 3rd Party Installers and SOC Clients
  • Be the main point of contact for installer customers in your area
  • Support the sales team with onboarding new clients and solutions
  • Manage new platform provider clients through implementation and go live stages
  • Via a combination of site visits, customer events, telephone / Teams and email contact as appropriate, generate new business leads and convert them to quotes and revenue winsUse contacts to generate new business and assist members of other sales teams by providing specialist monitoring expertise
  • Create and deliver customer training (eg MASWeb) and “keep in touch” programmes
  • Maintain the agreed CRM process for existing customers and sales prospects
  • Provide regular updates to the business on customer issues and market trends
  • Follow up on prospects to establish whether a lead is valid and quote as appropriate
  • Manage the process of bringing new clients on board from concept stage to go-live and be main point of contact during and after the implementation of their solution
  • Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Take responsibility for customer issues and resolve to a satisfactory conclusion
  • Create bespoke written customer proposals ensuring all services are correctly costed.
  • Ensure compliance to all company approval processes Good written and verbal skills are essential, plus organisational capability with an attention to detail
  • Utilise current CRM software tools to record activity weekly, track quotes/order status.
  • Work closely with colleagues of all department in the interests of the customer and company goals; act as the voice of the customer.
  • Ensure excellent levels of customer care and service are adopted in accordance with Company standards

Essential Skills

What you will need...

  • Account Management Experience ideal, but not essential
  • Experience/understanding od Security Industry is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.
  • Conduct business with integrity, loyalty, and honesty, building trust with colleagues and clients alike.
  • Foster positive relationships through cooperation and support, both internally with team members and externally with clients.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, approaching challenges with optimism and resilience.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented
  • Willing to travel for client visits
  • Knowledge of MAS Web and similar client facing systems - Desirable
