About our Team
 

Our team is part of the International Sales Group (ISG). We work with UK and Irish companies to help achieve their export goals. Often this is small to medium-sized enterprises taking their first steps into other markets, however, we have also built long-term relationships with companies as they develop and grow. We work on a portfolio basis and oversee across multiple shows in different territories which gives us a unique position to leverage Rx Global’s strength to support our clients more robustly rather than being limited to a one-show solution.
 

About the Role
 

As an Exhibition Portfolio Sales Manager, you'll manage trade shows and work with UK and Ireland clients to boost global sales. ISG UK handles sales for over 40 global trade shows, spanning up to 4 industry sectors. You will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues globally, particularly in key show regions across EMEA and the US. It's essential to build enduring client relationships by understanding their strategic goals and demonstrating the value of our shows.
 

Responsibilities

Managing shows by selling exhibition space, sponsorships, print, and digital opportunities to new and existing participants for our market-leading range of events.

Attending Rx Global and competitor events, both domestically and internationally. The goal is to nurture relationships, expand the database, and explore new business opportunities.

Establishing and building long-term relationships with customers, understanding their businesses and marketing needs.

Exceeding daily activity output targets with an average of 80 minutes of call time and 20 effective calls per day.

Ensuring adherence to ISG best practices in communication with show teams and maintaining an up-to-date pipeline for all shows. Collaborate with show teams to agree on a communication plan, specifying frequency and format, to ensure effective communication.

Supporting sales administration tasks, order management, and updating invoicing details.

Assisting the Head of Sales by monitoring incoming inquiries and managing intercompany forms and invoices related to sales activities. This involves tracking and allocating inquiries, as well as handling the exchange of forms and invoices within the company.

Developing a strategic plan to enhance business growth. This plan should cover short and long-term objectives. Regularly submit detailed reports on your plan, potential clients, and pipeline to your line manager bi-weekly.


Requirements

Possess extensive experience in B2B sales, with a solid background in the events or exhibitions industry. Have confidence in selling to senior-level prospects and customers.

Be able to achieve and surpass individual revenue targets.

Be proactive in establishing and building positive long-term relationships with customers.

Possess excellent communication and organizational skills to adhere to ISG best practices in communication with show teams.

Demonstrate the ability to support sales administration tasks and order management.

Be willing to travel for client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions as required.
