Thesuccessful candidate will oversee and maintain the care of Residents within the Care Home. In the absence of the Home Manager willtake responsibility for the daytoday running of the Care Home andensure that all Company policies and procedures and all legalrequirements are adheredto.


Your dutiesas a Nurse/ Home Manager willinclude:

Assessing planning implementing and evaluating individual careplans for service users and assist care staff in theirresponsibilities.
Taking responsibility for all clinicaldecisions
Carrying out all nursing interventions ina professional manner and in accordance with the NMC Code ofConduct for nurses.
Ensuring all documentation is completedand evaluated as required by the care home in a timely manner andin accordance with the standards set by theNMC.
Ensuring all Staff Members contribute to the best of their abilityto the efficient running of the Care Home and to the creation of anatmosphere conducive to the best interests ofResidents.
Interacting with Residents to ensure thattheir health care needs are being met and resolve any problemswhere appropriate.
Ordering receiving storing administeringor supporting to selfadminister and dispose of medication inaccordance with the policyand.
Practicing maximum integrity in all dealings with Residentspersonal and financial affairs and avoid abuse of the privilegedrelationship that exists withResidents
Ensuring the Care Home operates inaccordance with all statutory regulatory and contractualobligations.
Implementing and initiating inductiontraining for all StaffMembers.
Being On Call for advice/action in anyemergencies which may arise out ofhours.
Adhering to and assist with theimplementation of all HR policies &procedures.
Liaising with external professionals

Overall responsibility for the running of thehome.

Strong care homeexperience
First level nursequalification
Previous management/supervisoryexperience
Teamplayer
Satisfactory DBS Check employmentreferences and check against the ISA List (whereapplicable)
