Position: Textiles Lecturer
Location: Stamford College
Start Date: August 2024 (New Academic Year)
Contract: Part-time (1 day per week)
Salary: £21.57 - £23.54 per hour depending on qualification.

Stamford College is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Textiles Lecturer to join thier team for the new academic year starting in August 2024. This part-time role, working one day per week, is ideal for a professional with experience in textiles who is enthusiastic about teaching and inspiring students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in textiles.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum requirements and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and ensure course content is up-to-date and industry-relevant.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and other college activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in textiles.
  • A teaching qualification is desirable but not essential. However, candidates must be willing to work towards obtaining one.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
