We are looking for a skilledAuto Mechanic to maintain and repairvehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues andfixing them aiming at maximum reliability and functionality.

An excellent auto mechanic has good eyehandcoordination and manual dexterity. They are wellversed in complexmechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellentproblemsolving abilities. They must also be good communicators toprovide advice to customers.

AutoMechanic responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electricalcomponents to diagnose issues accurately
  • Inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems torepair maintain and upgrade
  • Conducting routinemaintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality andlongevity

Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicle engine andmechanical/electrical components to diagnose issuesaccurately
  • Inspect vehicle computer andelectronic systems to repair maintain and upgrade
  • Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluidslubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality andlongevity
  • Schedule future maintenance sessionsand advise motorists on good vehicle use
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fixissues (e.g. leaks)
  • Provide accurate estimates(cost time effort) for a repair or maintenance job
  • Keep logs on work and issues
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical electrical andelectronic components of vehicles
  • Workingknowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Ability to handle various tools (e.g. pliers) and heavyequipment (e.g. lift)
  • Willingness to observeall safety precautions for protections against accidents dangerousfluids chemicals etc.
  • Excellent physicalcondition
  • A high school diploma is preferred;Certification from a vocational school or completion of anapprenticeship is preferred
  • Validcertification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
