Thebusiness we are assisting to recruit for is an awardwinning cybersecurity firm. They are a growing business offering CyberEssentials Certification ISO 27001 consultancy and PenetrationTesting. They have more than 500 customers ranging from microcompanies to major defence construction and othermultinationals.

Forthis position you will need a passion for cyber security and beable to demonstrate this. The successful candidate will receivetraining to gain qualifications to become a Cyber Essentialsassessor.

Yourstarting salary will be 26500 which could increase to 37000 withintwo years (see salary and benefitsbelow).

KEYAREAS OFRESPONSIBILITY:
  • Toassess client s Cyber Essentialssubmissions.
  • Calls withclients to help them understand Cyber Essentialsrequirements.
  • Conductingvulnerability scans of clientinfrastructure.
  • Answering technicalqueries from clients.
  • Liaise withthe Admin team regardingscheduling.
  • Researching cybersecurity vulnerabilities andsolutions.
  • Taking part in technicalteam development projects.
  • Assistingwith Penetration Testingprojects.
OTHERRESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Representthe company and help to raise the profile of its services asopportunitiesarise.
  • Contribute tonews articles web content and other information for publicity andto raise the profile of thecompany.
  • Ensure documents arecompleted updated and filed appropriately in accordance with ISO27001 requirements.
  • Participate instaff meetings team briefings andtraining.
  • Perform other duties thatmay be required from time totime.


Requirements
  • Minimumthree years of experience working in an Information Technologytechnicianrole.
  • Commitment to ownprofessional development.
  • Stronginterpersonal and verbal communicationskills.
  • Confident with the abilityto work independently and as part of ateam.
  • Proven ability to useinitiative and make effectivedecisions.
  • Ability to prioritisework manage time effectively and meetdeadlines.
  • Organised dedicatedhighly motivated andreliable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoftcomputer packages (Word Excel Outlook); workingknowledge.
  • SharePoint and Teams; anda working knowledge of common ethical hacking tools such as nmapand other tools in the Kali Linuxsuite.
  • A passion for cyber securityand a commitment to our ethical aims andvalues.
