Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Southwark
Salary: £90 to £110 per day

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? GSL Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialised educational setting in Southwark.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support Students with SEMH: Provide tailored assistance to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, fostering their learning and emotional development.
  • Create an Inclusive Environment: Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports all learners.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted interventions and support plans.
  • Encourage Holistic Growth: Build strong, positive relationships with students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Adaptable Support: Assist across different age groups and key stages as required.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an SEMH or SEN-related role is highly desirable.

  • Qualifications: Relevant training or qualifications in SEN or education are an advantage.
