TheRole

We are seeking a dedicatedand enthusiastic Drama Teacher to join our dynamic team. Thesuccessful candidate will inspire and engage students across allkey stages fostering a love for drama and the performing arts. Youwill be responsible for delivering highquality lessons thatstimulate and challenge students helping them to achieve their fullpotential.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Planprepare and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to thediverse needs of students.
  • Develop andimplement schemes of work in line with the NationalCurriculum.
  • Assess monitor and record studentprogress providing regular feedback to students andparents.
  • Organise and direct schoolproductions and extracurricular drama activities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community throughparticipation in staff meetings events and continuous professionaldevelopment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusiveclassroom environment where every student feels valued andsupported.

AboutYou

  • Qualified TeacherStatus (QTS) and a relevant degree in Drama or PerformingArts.
  • Proven experience teaching drama atsecondary level with a track record of achieving excellent studentoutcomes.
  • Passionate about drama and committedto inspiring a love for the subject in students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability toengage and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalskills.
  • Creative innovative and eager tocontribute to the development of the dramadepartment.
