Lead, develop and maintain a coherent research programme in the subject area and, as appropriate, lead or contribute to external research funding applications of international standard, participating actively in the development of School and College research strategy.2. Maintain a track record of publications of international quality in leading peer reviewed journals or with a scholarly press to enhance the international profile of the subject area.3. Play a leading role in the planning, organisation, development and delivery of the curriculum within engineering including developing research-led courses and new teaching materials and methodologies and adopting inclusive learning approaches which recognise the needs of a diverse student cohort.4. Participate fully in examination and other assessment processes, as appropriate, using a variety of methods and techniques and provide effective, timely and appropriate feedback to students to support their learning.5.
