The ExtraCare Charitable Trust  currently have an amazing permanent opportunity for a commercially driven Regional Manager to develop their experience and knowledge in the Charity sector, overseeing our charity shops in the Northwest.

As Regional Manager with ExtraCare Retail Limited (part of The ExtraCare Charitable Trust) you will be responsible for a portfolio of charity shops across the Nottingham, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire region. You will manage all retail activities within the region, maximising the full sales and profit potential for each shop. Role Details

Role: Regional Manager - Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Home-based with travel Contract: Permanent Salary: £52,276 per annum Region: Nottingham / South Yorkshire / Derbyshire

Main responsibilities:

Meet or exceed sales/profit budgets. Conduct regular shop visits and agree action plans with the shop team to deliver budget. Maintain adequate visit reports to support feedback and appraisal process. Ensure policies and work instructions are adhered to. Ensure shop managers know how to interpret and use management information. Actively manage KPI’s. Promote ExtraCare shops and the Charity across the community through attendance at relevant events, networking, and publicity opportunities. Ensure customer service standards are implemented and maintained at all times. Ensure merchandising and display standards are maintained across the region. Ensure Shop Managers and staff are security conscious and follow the correct procedures as stated in the “Shops Operating Manual”.

Our ideal Regional Manager :

Candidate must have a UK driving licence and access to a car, travel expenses will be paid. Previous retail experience -preferably within the charity sector. Ability to work with a broad mix of people - the ability to work with a diverse group of people, including volunteers, staff, and customers. Proven delivery of sales/profit budgets. Cash management/financial Exceptional interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate effectively with others, build relationships, and resolve conflicts. Committed team player - the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals. Good organisational skills - the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. High level numeracy skills - the ability to understand and analyse financial data. Strong communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Performance management - effective 1:1’s, objective setting, assessing employee performance, developing through coaching & feedback. Recruitment - Experience with interviewing, hiring, evaluating candidates.
