About The Role
EKC Group is looking for a dedicated Industry Liaison Officer (ILO) to join their team at EKC Canterbury College within the Construction Department. In this role, you will:
Secure and monitor work placements for students across various vocational areas. Act as the primary point of contact for employer relations in these sectors. Plan and implement employer events, as well as organise visits for students to connect with industry professionals. Ensure timely documentation, following college guidelines and national standards for employer partnerships. Work closely with students—both individually and in small groups—to assess and develop their employability skills, enabling them to complete successful industry placements.This role is central to building strong industry connections and helping students thrive in their professional journeys.

About You
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Industry Liaison Officer who brings a blend of skills and passion to the role. You will: Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—both verbal and written. Be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks, applying a flexible and adaptable approach to work demands. Possess an inquisitive and analytical mindset, with keen attention to detail Be capable of working independently using your own initiative, while also being an effective team player.A Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject is desirable. However, we are open to considering candidates with equivalent experience in the sector and a willingness to obtain the necessary qualification.
