Overview

In the Waters PFAS Program Team our aim is to provide meaningful analytical solutions and scientific information to our customers working in the field of PFAS analysis. We are currently seeking a Senior Applications Scientist to join our team and work in a dynamic environment with the opportunity to utilise your scientific knowledge solving problems that matter. In this role you will have the opportunity to interact on a regular basis with our marketing and field sales organisations and most importantly our customers.

Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and expectations for PFAS analysis.  Develop high quality applications material to support our marketing campiagns and deliver information to our customers. Work within our business segment to develop our system solutions.  Be a source of technical expertise supporting company products and applications. Participate in customer facing events such as seminars, webinars, conferences and tradeshows.

Qualifications

What will make you a successful Senior Applications Scientist at Waters:

MSc or PhD in a scientific discipline. Previous experience working in LC/MS. Proven experience in the analysis of PFAS or other food or environmental contaminants. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience of working collaboratively with others to achieve a shared goal. Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
