NBCUniversal is looking for highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will contribute to the evolution of our data platform into a truly international product. Partnership with international teams and openness to the latest ideas in data technology is essential to the success of the role.

As a member of the Decision Sciences team, highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis. As a Data Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in guiding product development and strategy through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform product decisions and strategies. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to develop data-driven strategies that enhance product performance and user experience. Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting actionable solutions. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to understand industry trends and inform product development. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure data-driven product development. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by implementing robust data governance practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or engineering, or focus on data/statistical analysis or equivalent experience highly desired 3 – 5 years of experience working with complex data sets across a broad range of domains. Knowledge of financial, video streaming and analytical data sets such as Adobe will be advantageous. Detail and results oriented, able to write detailed specs and analyze data to justify product decisions, and apply key learnings Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings in a clear and concise manner. Understanding of business strategy and product management principles. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
