About the job

Data Processing Specialist play a vital role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of CGA services by ensuring that harmonisation (matching) of data and classification of dictionaries is completed in line with CGA’s world class standards. Each analyst is assigned to a specific CGA territory and practice area, but works collaboratively within the Data Preparation team to make sure dictionaries are maintained accurately, data integrity is sustained at a high standard and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.

Responsibilities

Matching large and varied datasets into alignment with the definitive on-premise GB, IE & Food service dictionaries within product. Ensuring the quality and accuracy of CGA services by ensuring that harmonisation (matching) of data and classification of dictionaries is completed in line with CGA’s world class standards. The role is specific to the territories of Great Britain, Ireland, and Food Service. They will work collaboratively within the Data Preparation team to make sure dictionaries are maintained accurately. Completing daily QC processes on matched data. Working towards weekly and monthly delivery deadlines. Liaising with own team and other departments by Teams chat/calls, emails, and office meetings.

Working as a team as well on own initiative Has sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues Responds to emails and queries in a timely and professional manner, escalating for support where required Nice to have: Proficiency in another European language Good eye for detail Willingness to learn new skills.
