Job DescriptionJob Duties:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in classroom settings
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for SEN students
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with SEN students to reinforce learning concepts
- Monitor and track progress of SEN students and report to the teacher
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Additional training in supporting SEN students is desirable
Experience:
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting
- Experience working with SEN students is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning needs and abilities
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to support SEN students
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- SEN-specific training or certification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work hours may vary depending on school schedules
- May involve standing for extended periods and assisting students with mobility
- Collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
