Job Description

As a Supply Teacher at our South Manchester Secondary school branch, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across various subjects to students in the North West England area, specifically in Altrincham. Your role will involve maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students. You will need to be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to handle a range of educational challenges.

Job Duties
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across different subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to education
Required Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any subject
Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrated strong behaviour management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) or teaching English as a second language (TESL)
Working Conditions
  • Full-time hours on a contract basis
  • Work location may vary within the North West England region
  • Regular interaction with students, parents, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
