Sodexo Live West of Scotland are now hiring for Kitchen Porters within the iconic Hamilton Park Racecourse & Hampden Park. To ensure that all cleaning check lists are completed and followed, before, during and after service. Visual hazard check of kitchen before, during and after service and ensuring all hazards are resolved or passed to Head Chef To clean equipment, utensils, crockery, and glass throughout and after service Operation of the dishwasher – including deep cleaning of the machine at the end of every service Correct disposal of rubbish/recycling Ensure correct chemicals are used for cleaning purposes following COSHH guidelines. Correct PPE is worn throughout shift, full uniform blue trousers & Tops, safety shoes must be worn at all times Unused trolleys and grates are stored and removed correctly.  Kitchen cleanse is to the standard of safeguard requirements. Broken / malfunction equipment to be reported to Head Chef immediately. All staff must clock out and sign off with the Head Chef or Lead Chef on duty Thrives on working in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills A good team player, but also able to work on your own Ability to work under a high, fast paced service environment Self-Hygiene Kitchen Porter background Knowledge of COSHH and its importance Willingness for self-development
