Position:

As an intern, you will join our leading Global, Healthcare Investment Banking franchise and gain experience across a variety of projects and initiatives. You will support bankers primarily based in London, but also collaborate with team members in other offices.

The position will be based in Westminister, London where you will join a dynamic and growing office of 25 people – across different sectors and products.

The internship will start in July 2024 and last for at least 6 months.

Please note that there are current internship opportunities in London in the fields of healthcare and technology. Candidates must choose between the healthcare/tech position and submit one application only

Responsibilities:

Our lean team structure allows our junior team members to enjoy a strong learning platform and assume high levels of responsibility at the early stages of their careers.

You will assist our team members in their daily tasks which will include:

Supporting the team in pitch preparation and transaction execution Carrying out company and industry analyses and preparing company profiles across all sector verticals Carrying out M&A and fundraising analysis within specific healthcare sub-sectors Company valuations using trading comps, M&A multiples and the DCF method Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to contribute to the overall success of the healthcare investment banking practice and the firm

Requirements:

A strong interest in science and healthcare BSc or MSc (or equivalent) degree in a science (medicine or natural sciences), finance, or related field You will have already graduated with a Bachelor’s degree at a minimum Excellent research abilities and ability to think strategically, critically analyse information, and make recommendations Prior experience in investment banking for at least 3-6 months is preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
