What is the job?
We are looking for a Cleaner to support the facilities team with the cleaning and upkeep of the building.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm and Fridays 6am to 1pm. Part Time applications / Job Share accepted (please state in your application your preference)

There are now 22 facilities across the world in 9 countries. Here in Ely, we are responsible for the Motion Control and Optical Tables product line.

Where you will be working?

Our purpose-built facility is just 12 miles from Cambridge, within the beautiful mediaeval city of Ely. There are train and bus links to Ely from Kings Cross and Liverpool Street London, and our site is within distance of Ely train station and Ely Bus station.

What we would like you to do/ to see…

• Take ownership of the cleaning of the Thorlabs building including general cleaning of all office, production and lab areas
• Cleaning of communal areas such as the staff canteen and toilets etc.
• Undertake deep clean activities as required
• Ensuring stocks of consumables, such as sanitizer, hand soap, toilet tissue etc. are maintained
• Upkeep of kitchen areas (emptying dishwasher, cleaning coffee machine, etc.)
• General support to the facilities team as required
