Fernando Jorge is Brazilian-born fine jewellery designer widely considered to be amongst the brightest emerging talents in the jewellery and fashion worlds alike.

Fernando worked for almost ten years in key design roles for various Brazilian jewellery labels before moving to London for an MA in Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins. His first eponymous collection, launched in 2010, was received with critical acclaim and the designer subsequently established his brand in the UK.

Fernando Jorge is looking for a Junior Product Development & Production Associate to join its business full-time in the London studio. Working alongside Fernando and his team, the successful applicant will support the product development and production processes. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact and to join the company at an exciting stage in its growth.

Main duties will be

3D modelling in Rhinoceros or Matrix Product Development: ensure 3D designs are produced commercially and technically sound, up to our quality standards, ensuring consistency in our quality amongst different collections and different workshops.  Create technical forms with all necessary details for production. Assist both our internal development and production teams, supporting them as needed. Some communication with manufacturers may be required Support team with Quality Control Liaise with our workshops on repairs Assist the team with visits to Hatton Garden

Required skills / Experience

Experience in product development Jewellery / design background Strong understanding of 2D drawings and 3D / CAD Creative and innovative thinking skills / Problem-solving skills Organised  Excellent eye for detail Strong communication skills 

Desired skills / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in design, architecture, jewellery making, engineering or similar Knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Rhinoceros and/or Matrix, and Microsoft Office  Zbrush experience is not required but would be a plus
