Job description

Job responsibilities

1. Collaborating with Primary Care Networks (PCNs) to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with contractual requirements - financial management of PCNs

2. Acting as a point of contact for PCNs, handling complex queries, managing confidential information, and contributing to performance reporting

3. Assisting in the Oversight of the ARRS budget, ensuring accurate reimbursement for additional roles within the PCN

4. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and tracking spending, contributing to financial delivery, and maintaining proper financial records

5. General book-keeping and data entry into Sage Line 50 accounting software with high degree of accuracy

6. Reconciling bank and control accounts

7. Maintaining a high level of work quality and ensuring timely completion of tasks with excellent attention to details

8. Dealing with queries from staff, sub-contractors, suppliers and all stakeholders

9. Responsible for the general and project-specific procurement, supplier contract management and ensuring maintenance and safe use of office equipment

10. Responsible for booking and facilitating venues for training, seminars and other events

11.Posting all supplier invoices, reconciling against statements and processing payments

12.Processing information required for monthly payroll

13.Processing and updating information on NHS and NEST Pensions portals

14.Processing debtors, issuing reports and statements and chasing bad debts

15.Administrating the day-to-day activities ensuring policies, procedures, and systems are complied with

3.Holidays: Holidays are 27 days per year plus UK bank holidays.

5.Probationary Period and Notice Period: There is a three-month probationary period for this role. The notice period is one month.

Essential

Experience of, or good exposure to book-keeping to trial balance stage, and office administrative skills Capable of carrying out bank and control account reconciliations Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills Excellent attention to detail to work accurately Ability to work in a team and with the initiative, drive and able to work on their own Qualifications: Book-keeper/Accounts Assistant Qualified by experience Personal attributes: Ability to work with due care and attention, to maintain a high degree of accuracy Decision making: Ability to make recommendations and take part in a decision making process.
