Our Laundry service – Little Bill Laundry – located in Leyton provides washing services and linen rental producing over , items a week for our 7 Imperial London Hotels and other hotel brands across central London. We are a family run business with over years of experience and are committed to providing a green, sustainable and reliable service though our investment in the best machinery and operating a fleet of CNG vehicles to lead the way for sustainable laundry processes.
As Laundry General Cleaner you will carry out the following duties
What you’ll be doing
- Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping of factory, office and staff areas
- Cleaning surface areas of Laundry machines and ensuring that they are free of lint
- Ensure that all waste bin areas are emptied regularly
- Ensuring all bathrooms and toilets are cleaned to a high standard and replenish toilet roll, soap and sanitiser regularly
- Cleaning all door and handle touchpoints throughout the factory and staff areas
- Wiping tables and maintaining cleanliness standards in the staff canteen including kitchen equipment; fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle
- Maintain the outside cleanliness of yards area and pedestrian and main gates by jet-washing
What we’d like from you
If you have previous cleaning experience this would be beneficial, but we’ll provide you with the training on what you need to do daily. You will take pride in your work to ensure that there is a clean and safe environment for your colleagues and any external visitors. A can-do attitude and the ability to carry out your tasks independently
