Equans is looking for a Sustainable FM Co-ordinator to join our team in The Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £26, per annum and benefits package.  

The Sustainable FM Co-ordiantor will assist in the leading of a well-established team in the Soft FM Patient Services Departments and beyond in Soft FM. You will assist with the day-to-day operations and services in Cleaning, Patient and Non-Patient Catering Services. monitoring of the quality all FM services, to ensure performance against relevant KPIs.

What will you deliver? 

Promote a culture of customer service to both internal and external customers and partners, liaising with other departments regarding Soft FM issues if required Proactively and positively contribute to the achievement of deliverables through individual and team effort In liaison with service managers, HR, and the HUB support function, ensure training requirements are completed in a timely manner and the service remains compliant Work with Managers and team members to deliver on their functionally relevant objectives through offering advice, guidance, and support as appropriate Contribute to the provision, maintenance, and assist with the control of all documentation within Soft FM at QAH Assist with report writing, reviewing, and supporting the management team, being sensitive to the wider implications of the outputs within your remit such as Management cases, APRs, Team Talks and Absence Management Proactively identify any forthcoming problems, notifying the Service Managers of issues that may affect the provision of the service Maintain accurate records showing all staff are trained and have appropriate refresher courses as may be required by the organisation Review audits carried out by the Trust or any other body, reporting any follow up actions that need to be taken by Team Leaders or FM Managers Assist in the management and recording of management of supplies, chemicals and consumables relating to the delivery of Soft FM services. Carrying out stock takes and audits to ensure stock control and issuing in line with procedures Support in the management of electrical equipment used in the service, including overview of serviceability and maintenance, PAT testing and other health and safety considerations Reporting accidents, near misses or non-conformities and ensuring the correct completion of risk event forms & documentation

Who are we looking for? 

Experience of working within Hotel & Catering industry and/or Facilities Management sector Interest and experience of Sustainability in the workplace and local environment (desirable) Business/Management Studies (desirable) A flexible and adaptable approach Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team Capable of working with no or minimum supervision Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer services Administrative ability and IT literacy

This role includes a standard DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
