About the role

We have a great opportunity for a waterside park Ranger to join our busy team in Kielder. The Key aspects of this role will be to provide support to our legal statutory requirements, commercial activities and passive recreational pursuits, with a dual aim of maximizing profitability and enhancement of the company’s image and reputation through the provision of a high standard of customer service.

The successful candidate will support the Kielder team to deliver high quality activities across the site and may be called upon to assist with any other area of the business.

The role will involve completing work on maintenance schedules, reactive work programs, undertaking regular inspections and monitoring programs for fixed and mobile assets.

About you:

We’re looking for a dedicated individual with a proven track record in a customer focused role, as daily interaction with our guests will be a key part of the position.

The ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude toward work and must be available to work unsocial hours, including weekends. Experience in hospitality or visitor services is highly desirable, along with practical skills in a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This role has also been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you’ll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.
