Apprenticeship Overview: Youwill embark on a comprehensive training program to learn the designinstallation commissioning and maintenance of electronic systems.These systems include fire detection security alarms emergencylighting access control and CCTV for prestigious commercialcustomers in the UK. Throughout the apprenticeship you will developa wide range of technical skills and behaviours necessary to excelin this industry and once complete will be a Level 3 qualified FireEmergency and Security Systems Technician.
KeyLearnings will include how to:
- Designplan and install fire emergency and security systems in commercialproperties.
- Conducttesting commissioning and handover of installed systems ensuringthey meet professional industrystandards.
- Performpreventative and corrective maintenance diagnose faults and repairsystem components asneeded.
- Provideprofessional customer service maintaining a presentable andrespectful demeanour while working in diverseenvironments.
- Workindependently or as part of a team to ensure systems are installedand maintained efficiently andsafely.
Requirements:
- GCSEpass in Maths andEnglish.
- Clean drivinglicense and access to avehicle.
- Strong interestin the fire emergency and securityindustry.
- Ability to workindependently and as part of ateam.
- Excellentproblemsolving skills and attention todetail.
Training and Development:Throughout the apprenticeship you will receive blended trainingincluding block classroom based sessions and practical shadowingwith our current engineers. You will have the opportunity to earnan ECS card and progress towards achieving EngTech registration bythe Engineering Council.
Regular progress reviewswill be conducted every 12 weeks involving yourself a Trinityrepresentative and training provider to ensure that the delivery oftraining meets the needs of both parties.
Pleasenote applications will be running until mid August interviews willbe held W/C 19th & 26th August and start dates will be onthe 23rd September.
