We have an very exciting opportunity for a Group Executive Chef to join us to oversee 8 Primary Schools within the Newham area. This is a pivotal role in ensuring that agreed food standards are maintained coupled with service delivery across all schools with the objective to exceed our customers’ expectations.
The main focus of the role will be food quality, developing new innovative menu / recipe ideas, planning theme days, training and coaching the kitchen teams. Working closely with the teams, clients and operations manager in developing the food offer, Ensuring we work within our purchasing, pricing remit and food cost controls. This role will support the operation manager in delivering the requirements of the contract..
Ideally, we are looking for a proven experienced senior chef with multi-site experience, knowledge of the education sector would be beneficial but not essential. However, we are looking for someone who is food focused, driven with the experience, passion and skills so that we can move the business forward and exceed our clients expectations. Excellent presentation skills are a must as well as good planning and time management and sound food knowledge. Must have a full UK driving license and access to a car and be able to cook.
