GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving primary school in Sevenoaks. This position offers a competitive daily rate and the potential for contract extension based on performance. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll provide crucial support to pupils and teaching staff, gaining valuable experience in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Graduate Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Provide support to the main class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Small Group Work: Assist small groups of pupils in literacy and numeracy activities to help them meet their learning goals.
  • One-on-One Support: Offer focused support to pupils with additional needs or who require extra help.
  • Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment.
  • CPD Participation: Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance skills and knowledge, with accreditation provided.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.
  • DBS: Must have, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Eligibility: Right to work in the UK.
