Maths Teacher - SEMH School

Protocol Education are working alongside a SEMH and SEN provision in Swindon to appoint exceptional and motivated Math’s teacher. 

Salary: Paid to scale

Hours: Full time

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

The school are looking  to appoint a highly effective, passionate and inspirational teacher to join the team.  The successful candidate will understand the challenges facing young people, the SEND code of practice and have a sound subject pedagogy and a proven track record in improving progress and attainment. 

The School

A SEN/SEMH Alternative Provision that caters for a wide range of specific needs for ages 11-16. The school provides an alternative education for children and young people who, at certain times of their lives, may require specific support. This is often when they are encountering personal crisis or need help with their behaviour and are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schooling.

Due to the nature of the role, the school and students, visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged. 

The Successful Candidate will:

• Have a passion for teaching and learning, understanding of SEN and the needs of vulnerable young people with social, emotional and mental health

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
