About the Role

We are seeking a product Designer for an award-winning mobile savings and investment app. You will be instrumental in creating a Design System from scratch for the company’s product design and engineering teams. Reporting to the UI Lead, you will work autonomously and collaboratively to develop tokens, components, and guidelines, ensuring design and code continuity.

Your responsibilities will include creating a Design System, collaborating with cross-functional teams, based in the London office on a hybrid basis, attending design reviews, and participating in design community activities.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have significant experience in responsive web design and Design Systems, demonstrated by creating at least one Design System (web) from scratch. Proficiency in tools like Figma, Token Studio, or similar is essential, along with a portfolio showcasing Design System deliverables and knowledge of accessibility requirements.

Other qualifications include a keen interest in UI motion and interaction design principles, strong communication skills, the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, quick learning abilities, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering great user experiences. An interest in the FinTech industry and a desire to help people build wealth are desirable traits.
