About Our Client:

Our client is consistently ranked in top-tier legal directories. From their London office, they advise individuals, families, businesses, financial services, educational, and not-for-profit organisations on every aspect of the law. Their clients face complex and varied challenges, whether that’s intricate family trust issues, multinational corporate transactions, or emerging threats to their reputation.

The Role:

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will work across all areas of private client work, with a focus on:

  • Estate Planning: Advising on estate planning for clients with diverse assets, both within and outside the UK. This includes drafting wills and documents for lifetime gifting.
  • Estate Administration: Handling the administration of high-value and complex estates, providing advice on inheritance tax reliefs, and managing cross-border estates.
  • Capacity Matters: Preparing lasting Powers of Attorney and Advance Decisions, and advising on capacity issues.
  • Trust Structures: Advising on UK trust structures, drafting trust documents for creation and restructuring, and managing the taxation of trusts, predominantly onshore.

Ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified 4-6PQE Solicitor with experience with:

  • Private Client Experience: Experience working with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, particularly those with complex property and business interests.
  • Probate Expertise: Experience in advising executors or administrators of estates and managing multi-faceted probates.
