As an Offshore ROV Pilot Technician or Supervisor, you will play a key role in our operations, operating remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to support offshore projects. Whether you are an experienced technician or a seasoned supervisor, your responsibilities will include ensuring the safe and efficient deployment of ROVs, conducting inspections and maintenance, and leading a team of technicians in executing ROV operations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ROVs in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to industry standards and regulations
  • Conduct pre and post-dive checks on ROV systems, troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues
  • Perform inspections and maintenance tasks on ROVs, including cleaning, repairing, and upgrading components
  • Monitor the performance of ROV systems during operations, proactively identifying and addressing any potential problems
  • Lead a team of ROV technicians, providing guidance and support in executing ROV operations
  • Collaborate with project teams to plan and execute ROV operations, ensuring effective communication and coordination
  • Collect and analyze data obtained from ROV operations, providing accurate reports to project teams
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Offshore ROV Pilot Technician or Supervisor in the offshore industry
  • Proven track record of operating and maintaining ROVs effectively and safely
  • Proficiency in using ROV control systems, including navigation, propulsion, and imaging systems
  • Strong technical knowledge of ROV systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform repairs and troubleshooting tasks
  • Prior experience in supervising a team of ROV technicians
  • Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations governing offshore operations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and project teams
  • Willingness to work in offshore environments for extended periods, adapting to changing schedules and working conditions
