We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Design and Technology to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire students through engaging lessons and practical projects, fostering a love for design and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic and effective Design and Technology lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching methods.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment, with a strong emphasis on health and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Design and Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
