We are one of the UK's most reputable, well regarded and continually growing Pension administration firms Our clients include household names; some of the biggest and most complex Pension schemes out there, and many of whom have been with us for a number of years Following years of continual growth - how many firms can boast that after the last few years? - we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior or Principal Pensions Administrators in our Edinburgh office, where you will join one of our established team and act as a key point of contact for colleagues and clients when it comes to the accurate, timely administration of their Defined Benefit Pension schemes. To do this, we're very keen to speak to individuals that have experience of administering Defined Benefit (aka Final Salary) Pensions schemes, and can demonstrate not only experience relating to coaching and training others and perhaps deputising for management regularly, but who also have an eye for detail, a collaborative working approach and a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the administrative process as required. In return, let us have an opportunity to tell you all about our unrivaled training programme, the success that we have had in promoting and advancing so many people over the years, and what we can offer you We are open to applicants that are looking for full time or part time roles - we will do all that we can to be as accommodating as we need to be for you - as this role is open to those currently in a Principal Pensions Administrator or Team Leader role, or those in a Senior Pensions Administrator position (or similar) looking to 'step up' into a Principal post.. How you'll make an impact Carry out complex pension administration tasks and calculations including overseeing the management of treasury and payroll in accordance with internal processes and company policies, adhering to procedures and standards regarding work and conduct. Accountable for ensuring the delivery of specific client/workloads. Managing and co-ordinating the delivery of admin projects. Checking of non-standard correspondence and reports. Management of errors and complaints to ensure they are handled effectively and in accordance with agreed process. Supervise, train, coach and mentor staff. Assist team members as required and provide support to CSD Team Manager Check and authorise other administrators work. Attendance at Trustee and ad hoc client meetings as required. Management of pensioner payrolls, pension increases and ensure the annual notification of the lifetime allowance used is notified to pensioners in a timely manner. Management of trustee bank accounts. Management of investment of contributions. Assisting the client account manager with any documentation they require with carrying out their responsibilities. Ensure client work is processed accurately and in a timely manner within target dates. About you Strong experience of working with different occupational pension schemes. Minimum of 3 years as Senior Pensions Administrator. CPC qualified or working towards PMI is desirable but not essential. #LI-TM2
