Salary: £45,478 with potential to rise to £53,504 over 3 years

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a  Data Steward  to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Data Steward who will work with a wide range of stakeholders to mature all aspects of data management across the organisation in line with the data strategy. They will focus initially on critical data quality improvement, master data management process automation and supporting delivery of the Data Governance framework.

Every day you will … 

Analyse data quality, integrity, context, and classification across various systems, using and advocating a mature range of tools, approaches, and standards. Define complex data management processes, demonstrating a focus on quality, automation, standardisation, and collaboration. Identify data management transformation opportunities, analyse complex data management problems, and define value-based requirements improving and monitoring maturity. Provide data stewardship advice and governance across NHS Supply Chain, to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency, and delivery of the Data Strategy.
