Hours:

Mon- Thurs (Days) 18:00-05:30

Tues- Fri (Nights) 06:00-17:30

Pay Rate:

Days: £14.65ph

Nights: £17.00ph

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within a busy yard. This includes ensuring all trailers are correctly positioned for loading and unloading, conducting routine vehicle checks, and adhering to all health and safety regulations. The role demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 Licence
  • Proven experience as a Shunter Driver, specifically with TUG vehicles
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a logistics environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and nights if required
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
