About the Role:

As a Maths SLT, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mathematics curriculum and driving academic excellence across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the Maths department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.

- Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to engage students in mathematics.

- Supporting and mentoring Maths teachers to achieve their full potential.

- Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the school.

- Monitoring and evaluating student progress and attainment in Maths.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate for the Maths SLT position will have:

- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Significant experience teaching Maths at secondary level.

- Previous leadership experience within a school setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
