SEND Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching SEND children? Cover People are searching for patient and sympathetic SEND Teachers to work within our SEN School and Primary Schools.

Job Title: SEND Teacher     Location: South Manchester  Daily rate: £140-£200

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • QTS or ECT.
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in Special Education and knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confidence and ability to adapt to any situation, and confidence working with SEND children.
  • Be a passionate and empathetic educator.
  • Team Teach Training
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure on update register

 

As a SEND Teacher you will:

  • Plan and deliver tailored learning, adapting resources to the needs of the students and deliver effective teaching strategies.
  • Promote the academic and social development of SEND children.
  • Provide a safe environment and have extensive knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to support pupil progress.

You will create an inclusive learning environment and teach a range of subjects to students who have Special Education Needs. . If you have the relevant experience, we would like to hear from you
