What you bring:

Qualified to Degree level in engineering or business related discipline Experienced in the manufacturing industry Previous experience of lean, CI & operational excellence Strong analytical and data management skills The capability to work strategically and to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation

What you will be doing:

You will be determining the ROCKWOOL Operational Excellence (ROPEX) implementation strategy for RW-UK in conjunction with the Technical Director, Group ROPEX Lead and other stakeholders.

Driving, managing and developing the ROPEX program in the factory to gain tangible business results and improvements in areas such as Productivity, Production Output, Customer satisfaction, Quality and Safety Developing a strong continuous improvement culture at the factory by ensuring involvement in ROPEX of all layers of the organization, coaching management to support the continuous improvement culture Facilitating the annual strategy and policy deployment process in the management team Responsible for establishing and leading the ROPEX Core team at the factory to ensure that the ROPEX tools are embedded into the operations organization and processes Implementing standardized GROUP ROPEX processes to the factory; secure alignment with the regional OPEX manager. Establishing and developing Lean Leadership and Oobeya/performance management as a strong discipline to ensure that the ROPEX system is well respected and sustained and provide coaching/guidance in Lean Standard Work, Gemba and Oobeya as needed Planning and conducting training in ROPEX tools as needed to ensure that the awareness of the ROPEX tools and application in continuous improvement becomes a natural part of everyday life in the factory Planning, facilitating and following up on Kaizen activities Providing training and coaching in systematic root cause problem solving and facilitating complex problem solving as needed Establishing KPIs and following-up on the portfolio of projects, Kaizen and improvement initiatives to ensure that the results are measured and achieved. This includes monthly business reporting Supporting factory operational diagnostics to identify potential for improvement  Building strong relationships with Group ROPEX and other OPCOs to ensure we learn from best practice elsewhere and share best practice in RW-UK Ensuring ROPEX is integrated into new employee induction plans
