Responsibilities

As a Temporary Work Coordinator, you'll be working withinthe Devonport team, supporting them in carrying out heavycivil engineering construction in and around the Royal Navydockyard. Joining the design / engineering team, you will beresponsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary Works on oneof the major projects ongoing in the dockyard.

Your day to day will include:

  • Co-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teamsand designers 
  • Review of TW design briefsprepared by site teams to ensure they are suitable for issue to theproject's Temporary Works Design teams and management of thatsubmission process
  • Management of TemporaryWorks through the full design preparation and checking processes inaccordance with appropriate procedures and clientrequirements 
  • Manage Temporary Worksdesigns through their full life-cycle to client approval,implementation, use and dismantling

 

What are welooking for?

This role ofTemporary Works Coordinator is great for you if:

  • Degree qualification in civil engineeringequivalent is desirable – one or more of: BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng,Tech, MICE, TIStructE, LCIBSE, LCIBSEEng Tech, Completion of HigherApprenticeship
  • We will consider personnelworking towards Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE,CIOB,or other appropriate professional body
  • Experience of overseeing a broad range of reinforcedconcrete, formwork and falsework Temporary Works schemes,preferably as a TWC or TWS
