BMI, a Fitch Solutions company, is currently seeking a Technology Analyst based out of London or Manchester office.

The Technology Industry Research team produces daily and quarterly written and data-centric analysis of company-, technology- and sector-level developments for a global audience of public and private sector clients. Ad hoc client presentations and custom research projects also form part of the regular workload.

We’ll Count on You To:

Take ownership of a suite of region-specific reports, country datasets and 10-year forecasts. Identify and analyse key sector trends and articulate the risks and opportunities facing sector stakeholders up and down the value chain. Produce insightful and actionable daily analysis and contribute to ad hoc reports and special projects as you become a subject matter expert. Interact with and support our global sales team and with clients to communicate our industry views and drive engagement with our data.

What You Need to Have:

Degree with a focus on Economics, Finance, International Relations or a related field. Ideally, relevant experience in Telecoms or Technology-related analysis and research, or at least demonstrable interest in the technology sector. Demonstrable ability to solve problems using critical, rational and creative thinking. Strong writing and numeracy skills are essential; Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills also desirable

Existing knowledge of the technology sector – specifically telecoms and digital services Ability to write clearly and concisely, while being able to convey key points effectively Ability to convey, clearly and concisely, key points through verbal and graphic skills Ability to work as part of a larger team and being willing to take on projects at short notice
