Job Description 

Step Teachers are collaborating with a Secondary School in London and are currently looking for a Maths Teacher, for a Part-Time Supply role. This is a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Academy that is relentless in their pursuit of excellence and academically ambitious for every child. They strive to provide an education that is inspiring, stimulating, and challenging. If you are an aspiring Mathematics teacher looking for a supply role then this is for you.

Maths Teacher - Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
  • The Maths Teacher must plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.

Maths Teacher - Qualifications:

  • QTS Status and enhanced up-to-date DBS.
  • Bachelor's degree in a maths-related field.
  • Teaching experience in mainstream Maths at secondary level.
  • A Maths Teacher with Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for inspiring young minds.
