Opportunity

We’re recruiting a Pricing Manager – Protect (South) within our Motor Risk Pricing team in Reigate. This team looks after the technical and live claims cost models, monitors the day-to-day performance of the portfolio and regularly proposes price changes based on emerging experience. We pride ourselves on our agile, varied and collaborative environment.

The Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in the business as you’ll be responsible for:

· Maintaining the live claim cost pricing model ensuring pricing accuracy and customer journey are equally considered

· Developing the suite of price monitoring reports to identify trends at the earliest opportunity

· Bringing price proposals to the appropriate forums for discussion and approval

· Working closely with your retail pricing counterparts to deliver good end-to end outcomes

· Line management for two analysts.

What you’ll bring (min criteria)

· Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Personal Lines pricing

· Prior experience of using insurance pricing software, Radar

· Knowledge of programming languages SAS, R, and Python

· Great attention to detail and an analytical mentality.
