What you will do:

You will provide comprehensive facilitation support to the project manager in all aspects of the implementation of the e-Rostering solution. An opportunity has arisen for a Digital Services Facilitator based at University Hospital Crosshouse (including Hybrid working). You will also provide a proactive Digital Facilitation service to enable Acute or Primary Care and Community Services to obtain maximum benefit from IT systems and resources, and advise on appropriate business process change and promote quality improvement through the use of Digital systems as directed by the Digital Strategy. You will analyse the ongoing Digital training requirements of clinical and non-clinical staff, translate these into training plans and facilitate the delivery of these plans as appropriate. You will supporting assisting with the implementation of new functionality and provide instruction and specialist advice in the use of clinical and non-clinical systems. You will develop data query and reporting tools to assist clinical and non-clinical staff in the extraction and analysis of complex data from eHealth systems in order to support the delivery of integrated healthcare.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

The ability to understand complex information and diagnose system related issues by working in close collaboration with colleagues within the digital services team and all services within the wider organisation are essential skills required along with the ability to work under pressure with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service delivery. You will preferably have experience or knowledge of clinical systems used within Secondary care and Primary & Community Services and must have evidential experience in support & facilitation, implementation & training.

Please note: This post is based at University Hospital Crosshouse but includes hybrid working.

Hours: 37 per week over 5 days.

This is a development opportunity until 30th November 2024.

A car driving licence/car ownership is essential for this post.

From 1 April 2024, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37.5 to 37 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

NHS Ayrshire and Arran will implement this change but it may not be possible to fully transition from 1 April and there may therefore be some areas of the organisation where implementation may take longer. If the department is currently unable to safely accommodate the reduced hours from 1st April, you may be required to work 37.5 hours per week (pro rata for part-time staff) until the department can meet the requirements without impacting patient safety - you will, of course, be remunerated accordingly. NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to full implementation of the 37 hour working week across all areas as soon as it is safe to do so
